At our January general meeting, we were fortunate to have many talented speakers.

Lionel Dripps, Executive Director, Democratic Senate Campaign Fund, shared valuable information regarding the most difficult 2012 Senate races -- the upcoming Senate “battleground”, the issues, the “other side” and their focus. Big THANKS to Lionel!

Senate District 23 Candidate Lee Kemp joined us to talk about his years of experience with RTD transportation issues, and his 2012 campaign. Lee received a warm welcome and the promise of support from the Broomfield Dems!

House District 33 Candidate Dianne Primavera was able to share some of her strategies and plans for her 2012 campaign. Broomfield is so happy to have Primavera working to represent Broomfield again!

Judicial District 17’s term-limited District Attorney Don Quick introduced Dave Young, an experienced trial lawyer and Candidate for District Attorney in 2012. Dave was an engaging speaker and the audience was thrilled to hear from him.

Broomfield Dems’ First Vice-Chair Patricia Ledesma updated attendees on the work she and the Ward and Precinct Leaders have been accomplishing. 2012 promises to be a year of excitement and activity.

We hope you will consider being a part of our growing group of Democrats, committed to a successful Caucus and Assembly/Convention in March, and big efforts to move our Democratic Candidates to their positions as our representatives in 2012 and beyond!

Watch for the agenda of the February 8 general meeting, coming soon.
